Pete Stefani

As a junior in high school, Pete Stefani began working for a local home builder, sweeping out construction debris and running errands. He quickly learned the ins and outs of general contracting and knew early on that he wanted to pursue a career as a custom home builder. After graduating from Benedictine University in 1986 with a business degree, his dream came to fruition. King’s Court Builders was incorporated in October, 1986.
Since then, his business has changed to meet the needs of his homebuyers, but his business philosophy has remained the same. “My reputation is dependent on every single home that I build. I take that very seriously,” stated Stefani. Additionally, as an active member in the local, state and national home builders associations, Stefani advocates for homeowner's interest when it comes to housing issues. Homebuilding is a very complicated process that relies on the work of others. Stefani enjoys seeing the coordination and cooperation of his trade partners and the KCB team creating a new home for a family. He believes learning from the ground up was important and that his early experience has paid off tremendously. “I am proud to have my name behind King’s Court Builders,” says Stefani. Building a great home is important, but service after the sale is equally vital. Stefani put so much emphasis on it that early in the King’s Court years, Pete initiated the first two-year builder warranty in the custom home building market.
