  • ​Why should I purchase a new construction home as opposed to buying an existing or resale home?

    Building your own home allows you the opportunity to personalize your home by selecting the options that fit your needs. Building also ensures that your home has all the latest design, technologies and building techniques – making it as up-to-date as possible. Everything is new, so there are no worries about replacing aging items. In addition, a newly constructed King’s Court home also comes with a two-year warranty.

  • Can I use my own lender?

    You can use your own lender or we can refer you to one.

  • If we don’t have time to build, do you have homes available immediately?

    We typically have Inventory Homes permitted, started, or even completed. Please contact info@KingsCourtBuilders.com for up to the minute details. If getting in a home by a certain date is important to you we are excellent about being on time with the closing date we give you in our contract (especially when it’s one of the home sites we own already).

  • Can we make custom changes?

    Of course! As a design/build firm, all of our homes are custom and are as unique as our homeowners. We have a variety of popular floor plans you can choose from. You can also use them as a starting point or inspiration to design your home based on your family’s lifestyle. We can also start from scratch to design your new home…just for you!

  • Can we make changes after the home is started?

    We understand that changes are part of the building process. We have a very liberal policy allowing change orders after the home has begun and we do not charge a fee for processing change orders. We do however, ask our homebuyers to understand that change orders require lead time to price and process as well as extending the build time in some cases.

  • What kind of warranty comes with your homes?

    We are confident in the quality of our homes, so we offer a two-year in-house warranty. Two weeks before your closing, you will have a homeowner orientation/walk-through with a King’s Court representative who will continue to work with you throughout your warranty period.

  • Who will help us make our selections?

    Your New Home Consultant will guide you through the selection process and you will meet with professional cabinet, flooring and lighting designers to help you make your selections.

  • Are the home sites included in the base price?

    Yes, a standard home site is included in the base price of our homes. Some communities offer home sites with water views, walkout or lookout basements.

  • Will you build on our land?

    Yes, we will build on land you already own or are looking to purchase in Naperville or the immediate surrounding area. As a design/build firm, we will help you design the floor plan, tear down the existing home if necessary, then build your new home!

  • What other communities has King’s Court Builders built in?

    Since 1986, King’s Court has built homes for over 1,100 families, which includes many repeat buyers. In the past we have built in the following communities: Ashwood Creek, High Meadow, Kinloch, Olesen Farm, Penncross Knoll, Saddle Creek, Stillwater, Tall Grass, and Tamarack West, in Naperville; Oakhurst, Oakhurst North, The Villages at Meadow Lakes and Stonehaven in Aurora; Grande Park and Shenandoah in Plainfield; Highland Woods in Elgin, Thornwood in South Elgin; Morgan Crossing in Oswego; and Tanglewood Hills in Batavia. We have also built many homes on our buyer's land including downtown Naperville, Plainfield, and Bolingbrook.

  • In what communities is King’s Court Builders currently building?

    We are building The Ponds at Ashwood Park South, and Americana Estates along with several homes on home sites purchased by our future homeowners in Naperville and the surrounding area.
